2013. august 28. 12:10
Debrecen – On Monday the theatre will be closed, but as a return, there will be poetic evenings for the public. In the new season thr prices will not change.

As Anna Ráckevei and Péter Gemza stated, they would like to carry out the repertoire calmly, since they are totally aware of the fact how wide the needs are that should be fulfilled with the programmes. We are planning seasons according to topics- Anna Ráckevei said. The first one will be on Greek dramas just to see the reason why we have loved this genre for 2 thousand years. This line will be emphasized by the classical piece of Sophocles, called Antigoné, The November night, which is a Polack play ( directed by Kinga Mezei from Southland) and the Queen Iokasté, which is a piece of a Canadian author.

Obviously, not only this topic will be on stage: They are planning a Vajda-opra based on two one-acted Lorca performance, the ’Oldfashioned story’ by Magda Szabó, the ’Aunt Bors’, a French story on a young-adult fiction, and also Csehov, Nabucco, the musical version of  ’Be good till death’ and the ’ Barber of Sevilla’ will be also on board. In cooperation with the National Theatre the audience can experience the performance of ’Valiant soul’ by Tamási, and there will be operetta on board, which hasn’t been played for a while. The season will be started with the ’ Merry Widow’, after the charitable evening planned at the end of August.
