Tram 2 has completed its first probation time
Debrecen – The CAF tram has tried the completed part of the railway track for the first time. The track hasn’t been finished yet, therefore the City is entitled to get penalty of several million forints.
Major Lajos Kosa stated at the press conference on Thursday that the railway track of tram 2 leading to the end of Thomas Mann street hasn’t been completed in due time terefore the City is entitled to get several million forints. The tram carrying journalists and city leaders started from the Old Town Hall so that was the first time when travelling passengers on track 2.
The track construction is in 4-5 day delay. The track on the right side hasn’t been finished at Dózsa György street and Nádor street. Because of the delay the corsortium is obliged to pay one million forints of penalty per day for the city.
