The new trams are already half way in their test-drive
Debrecen – The two prototype trams have already completed their 6 thousand kilometers test drive from the necessary 10 thousand kilometers that is recquired to get the licence. The deadline is the end of October.
The first two CAF-trams started their test-drive in July. To get the necessary licence the trams have to run 10 thousand kilometres under different type of pressure without having difficulties.
By the beginning of September the prototype trams had already run more than 6 thousand kilometres from the 10 thousand kilometres that was specified by the National Transport Authority by the end of October.
During the derail the new trams run line 1 mainly, which is between the Remíz and Aquaticum. The prototypes are running some parts of the new line, called number 2, which is between Péterfia street and Thomas Mann street.
