Engineers from Debrecen get the opportunity to plan the Intermodal Centre
Debrecen – The result of the tender for planning the intermodal centre replacing the Big Railway Station has been announced.
The tender for planning the intermodal transportation centre replacing the Big RailwayStation has been declared on 26 April. The centre would give place for the bus station, the railway station and the final stops of the local services. The government declared the intermodal centre to be a significant investment of national economy.
Lajos Kósa, chairman of the tender committee, announced the result of the tender at a press conference on Monday. The Committee decided to give a first, a second and a third prize. The first prize along with the 15 million forints was given to Archiko Ltd. Debrecen who cooperated together with Lengyel Artchitect Studio Ltd. ( Péter Kovács DLA and István Lengyel). The second prize, 13 million forints, was given to Budapest Studio Architect Ltd. ( Tamás Dévényi). The third prize was shared between Public Building Planner Ltd. and MARP Ltd. (Márton Dévényi). Both tender were bought by the government at a price of 10 million forints. Besides, the committee decided to buy 13 more tenders for 4 million forints each.
